“I dropped my vehicle off for the day with a headlight issue. The headlight would not work even after I replaced the light. This is now an electrical issue where a bad wire needs to be traced down. This can easily be a runaway train -- hours of testing and probing looking for that one broken wire or short. At a state labor rate of $150/hr this could easily be an $800-$900 bill. With electrical diagnostics you are pretty much at the mercy of the shop. My diagnostic and repair bill was only $150. That's fantastic! I will let my co-workers know they can drop their car off there and the repairs will be honestly diagnosed and repaired.”
